Privacy Policy

Last Updated: May 19, 2026

1. Commitment to Privacy

At GlyphFlow, privacy is not an afterthought—it is the foundation of our entire utility application. We believe that your words, documents, and private drafts belong exclusively to you. This privacy policy details how our application operates, emphasizing that no user content is ever collected, monitored, or transmitted.

2. Zero Server-Side Processing

GlyphFlow is engineered as a 100% client-side application.

  • Every character count, syllable analysis, word density calculation, and readability ease score runs locally in your browser sandbox.
  • Case transformation tools and text sanitization tools process strings strictly within your local machine's memory.
  • No text inputs, copy-paste operations, or uploaded files are sent over the network to any web servers.

3. Local browser Storage

To provide a seamless writing experience and protect against sudden device shutdowns or accidental tab closures, GlyphFlow automatically stores your active text draft in your browser's localStorage.

This storage is localized strictly within your web browser. You can clear this draft at any time by clicking the "Clear" button in the workspace, or by wiping your browser's cookies and site data.

4. Third-Party Services & Cookie Policy

GlyphFlow currently displays no third-party advertisements. No ad networks, tracking pixels, or analytics scripts are active on this site. We load Google Fonts from Google's CDN for typography, which may log your IP address per Google's own privacy policy.

If we introduce advertising in the future to cover hosting costs, this policy will be updated before any ad code is deployed. Any future ad partners would be required to operate under standard industry privacy controls, and you would be able to opt out via your browser's cookie settings or global privacy controls.

5. Speech Recognition & Microphone Permissions

If you utilize our Speech-to-Text Dictation feature, the application requests access to your microphone using the native Web Speech API. Microphone capture is active only when the "Listening" pulsing state is toggled on, and the voice transcription is converted to text strictly via your browser's native capabilities. No audio recordings are saved or shared.

6. Policy Updates

We may occasionally update this Privacy Policy. Any amendments will be published on this page with an updated modification date. Your continued use of the workspace confirms your acceptance of our local-first, privacy-driven data practices.
